Volunteer Opportunities
We are deeply thankful for our volunteers. Everything we do at A Hopeful Harvest is made possible because of people who generously give their time, care, and energy to serve our neighbors.
Join us on Saturdays between 2:00pm - 5:00 pm as we share food with our neighbors. Volunteers help with welcoming families, organizing food, and distributing pantry items. More details will be provided after you register.

Friday
Join us on Friday afternoons between 2:30pm - 4:30pm as we receive our weekly food delivery. Volunteers help unload and organize food items. Some boxes may weigh up to 40 lbs. More details will be provided after you register.

Required Volunteer Training
Volunteers at A Hopeful Harvest Pantry who interact with the households we serve are required by the Brazos Valley Food Bank and the Texas Department of Agriculture to complete annual Civil Rights Training. Nearly all volunteer roles include interaction with visiting households.
To meet this requirement, we ask all volunteers to complete the training by clicking the button below. The training consists of a short series of slides followed by a brief quiz and takes less than 30 minutes to complete.
The button below will download the training program as a PDF file.
