After discussion at the October 2025 meeting, our Board of Directors voted to implement the following policy regarding proxy pick-ups at the pantry.

In order to ensure an equitable distribution of resources, the following policies have been approved by the Board of Directors.

A Hopeful Harvest will allow a designated proxy to pick up food for households which have a completed H1555 form on file, a well as, a signed, completed Proxy Authorization Form. This form is valid for one year and may be canceled at any time by the household head.

The proxy will be required to show a photo id in order to pick up food for another household.

The food available for proxy pickup will be a bag of pre-selected non-perishables. No refrigerated items will be included.

The process of being served will remain in the order of arrival already established except that proxies who are scheduled to pickup food for more than 3 families will be asked to present after 4:00pm.

Proxies wishing to pickup food for more than 3 households will be handled on a prior approved, case by case basis.
